Related to a massive demonstration news, a traffic engineering will be imposed in the capital on November 4, 2016. It is in accordance with situational while seeing dynamics situation in the field.

Traffic from Merdeka Barat or Budi Kemuliaan towards Merdeka Timur, rerouted to Jalan Merdeka Barat or Jalan Thamrin and so on

Chief of Gakkum Sub-Directorate for Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate,  AKBP Budiyanto explained, traffic engineering aims to create conducive situation in the field. Related to demonstrator concentration, they would gather at Bareskrim office, therefore traffic from Jalan Gajah Mada-Jalan Merdeka Timur will be rerouted to Jalan Juanda-Jalan Gunung Sahari and so on.

The vehicle coming from Tugu Tani or Kebon Sirih towards Merdeka Timur, rerouted to Merdeka Selatan-Jalan Thamrin and so on. From Senen, the vehicle will be rerouted to Cikini Raya-Jalan Diponegoro-Jalan Salemba Raya and so on.

"Traffic from Merdeka Barat or Budi Kemuliaan towards Merdeka Timur, rerouted to Jalan Merdeka Barat or Jalan Thamrin and so on," he said, Tuesday (11/1).

In connection with demonstrator concentration that gathers at City Hall, traffic from Tugu Tani towards Jalan Merdeka Selatan will be rerouted to Jalan Ridwan Rais-Jalan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Merdeka Utara or Jalan Perwira-Lapangan Banteng-Pasar Baru-Veteran Raya-Jalan Gunung Sahari and so on.

While traffic from Senen, rerouted to Jalan Cikini Raya-Jalan Diponegoro-Jalan Salemba Raya and so on.

"Traffic from Merdeka Barat or Budi Kemuliaan towards Jalan Merdeka Selatan will be directed to turn right to Jalan Thamrin-Jalan Sudirman, or Jalan Merdeka Barat-Jalan Majapahit-Harmoni and so on," he stated.

Further, another concentration in front of Presidential Palace, traffic from Jalan Gajah Mada towards Jalan Merdeka Barat, rerouted to Jalan Juanda-Jalan Pasar Baru-Jalan Gunung Sahari or Lapangan Banteng-Jalan Pejambon-Jalan Merdeka Timur-Ridwan Rais Tugu Tani.

Traffic from Budi Kemuliaan that towards Patung Kuda must pass through Jalan Majapahit - Harmoni.

From Tugu Tani-Merdeka Selatan towards Patung Kuda, the motorist must turn left to Jalan Thamrin-Jalan Sudirman, or Tugu Tani-Ridwan Rais-Jalan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Perwira-Jalan Veteran Raya or Jalan Pasar Baru-Jalan Gunung Sahari and so on.

If there is traffic jam at Jalan Merdeka Barat, traffic from Semanggi ke HI Roundabout will be rerouted to Jalan Sutan Sahril-Jalan Agus Salim, or HI Roundabout-Jalan Imam Bonjol-Jalan Diponegoro.

"We will use Jalan Sudirman Thamrin, Semanggi as alternative access," he stated.

Then from Kuningan, will be straightened to Slipi, either artery or highway. Lastly, from Slipi, straightened to Kuningan and so on, either artery or highway.
